Mahoney State Park
2004
Friday, May 28, 2004
was the starting date for the 12th annual Mahoney State Park melodrama season. Our casting plans were the same as last
season for all three summer plays produced, two male and three female actors. We also produced a melodrama that
played all summer on the Fremont Dinner Train and added a gig on the Spirit of Brownville river boat!
Mr. Chapelle wrote a melodrama that worked on either the train or the boat and we proceeded accordingly. Jillian Clay Morse was hired
to serve as Director for the train/boat melodramas. Mr. Chapelle directed the Fall Melodrama as usual.

performed in 2004 on the excursion boat "The Spirit of Brownville" on the
Missouri river, docked at Brownville, Nebraska.
