Gary Botter and the Diving Sphere
By Julie Eschliman
As the end of another year approaches
at Wahoo Wizarding Academy, young Gary Botter really doesn’t want to think about being a hero and saving the school (again!) or even
about finding the mysterious “Divining Sphere” rumored to be hiding somewhere on school grounds. Gary just wants to pass his
finals, avoid trouble, and finally work up the courage to ask his secret crush--the talented, intelligent, and lovely Lily Lightheart--to
the Midsummer Ball. Alas, Gary’s nemesis, Rufus Nastius, has his own dastardly plans for Gary, Lily, the dance, and the “Divining Sphere”.
Will Gary, with help from Lily’s fiercely loyal friend, Pixie, be able to protect her from the conniving Rufus? Will anyone be able
to find the “Divining Sphere”? And what exactly is up with the eccentric librarian, Professor Trope?
