On board the riverboat "The Lazy Lady" an evil banker, Sirius Swindlemore, and the fearless river and prairie pirate Fearsome Rex Flotsam are fighting a battle of good versus evil.   Pirate though he may be Rex Flotsam is on the side of the law.  Caught between the two is the sweet and courageous Sally Everafter whose sole mission in life is freeing her father from prison and clearing his good name.  Will Sally be able to figure out it is the dashing pirate she can trust and not the evil banker before its too late?  Will pushy lady reporter Ima Hack ruin Rexs plan to bring Swindlemore to justice?  Will Sally ever be able to see past the pirate disguise and find her true love?
